With Christmas rapidly approaching, it’s time to figure out what to wear for those holiday parties if you haven’t already. I’ll probably opt for a plaid skirt with a long sleeve turtleneck, fur vest, and knee high black boots. To be honest, I haven’t given it any thought until now and I don’t plan on buying anything since budgets are tight for me this time of year. Whether you’re on a budget or not, I’ve put together some ideas for you guys and hopefully they help you create a special look 🙂
- Pretty much every girl owns a little black dress so if you’re on a budget this is a good place to start (try forever21 or asos if you’re on a budget and don’t have a LBD.) These two dresses pictured below are both velvet options from forever21.com

- Velvet is definitely a good look for both the holidays and NYE. Pair a velvet skirt or pair of pants with an off the shoulder long sleeve and a choker. Wear a velvet top with denim or a plaid skirt and knee high boots. Or wear a velvet dress!

4. Turtlenecks! In sweater, long sleeve, or dress form.
5. Lacy tops or dresses layered over long sleeves or turtlenecks. This looks great with a pair of knee high boots

6. FUR!!! I’ve mentioned fur above in complements to other ideas so let’s just add fur in general on here. And in my case, I wear faux.
